This Ain't No Joke. Bravo, Animax!

Animax Entertainment is working on a Facebook Connect game for NBC Universal's Bravo TV called "Who is Top Chef?" Currently in the development stage, the social game is set to launch a few months from now. Players will be able to test their skills against their friends to see if they have what it takes to be a culinary master and earn the title of Top Chef.

CTIA Animation & Games Panel

Animax Entertainment is at CTIA Wireless 2010 today talking on a panel entitled: Producing Mobile Animation and Games. The panel is sponsored by the Animation and Gaming Committees of the Producers Guild of America's New Media Council.

Through case studies, this session will walk you through the relationship between the technology and execution of mobile animation. Learn from industry leading publishers, game developers, and brand marketers. We're going to be reviewing some of our past work and lessons learned along the way as a producers of mobile and web-enabled interactive entertainment content. There is another panel as well in the program and a mixer so let's meet up today.

Ty Inc Taps Animax

Ty Inc, the makers of the world famous Beanie Babies, has tapped Animax Entertainment to lead development efforts of the Ty Girlz kids brand. In particular Animax is building a free-to-play model into the Ty Girlz girl focused virtual world, developing new content and building in new revenue opportunities through advertising and microtransactions through the sale of virtual goods. Animax Entertainment really loves the new game in the Neopets virtual world that just launched. It's the newest Game Challenge and it's called Attack of the Slorgs II: Slorgs in Space! Ready, aim, splat away as each level gets more difficult.

Tuttles Charity Game Goes Live!

Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation, Legacy Interactive and Animax Entertainment today launched The Tuttles Madcap Misadventures: Starlight Starbright Charity Challenge (www.tuttlesfamilygame.com), a casual platformer style downloadable videogame that pairs having a good time with doing good. Call it 'funraising.' Animax wrote the script and directed the celebrity voice actors and helped conceive and create the game and animations. Actors William Shatner, Bob Saget, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ashley Tisdale, Dominic Scott Kay, Dave Coulier and Animax's very own Dave Thomas contributed their voices to the animated game.

Keep Oceans Clean Game

There's a new kids game on the Keep Oceans Clean site for The Ad Council. Animax Entertainment designed the original site and produced this game that rewards kids for cleaning up the ocean. Navigate your diver as she swims around the ocean picking up trash and trying to clean up the mess.

Impossibly Cute

Animax has no relation to this. Just thought it was a fun idea. It's an alarm clock called Clocky that runs away from you when the alarm goes off so you have to get out of bed.

Play Ink Blaster Game

As part of the Kodak project, InkIsIt.com, Animax Entertainment has been working on, there's a free game to play called Ink Blaster. Try your hand at splatting crummy, old printers with ink from your ink cartridge (honestly, it's more fun than it sounds :) You can also try to splat the Bonus Piggie. Play Our Tic-Tac-Toe Game

Um - all of a sudden someone is driving a ton of traffic to our TicTacToe game and we're not sure who. All we know is that the free game has gone from about 100 visits a day to about 20,000 a day! That's nuts. Our version of tic-tac-toe is a hybrid in that you have to answer a trivia question to earn a move - in that way it's a bit lie Hollywood Squares minus Paul Lynde in the center square.
