Best Buy Black Tie

Animax was asked by Ketchum to help write and produce a launch event for Best Buy's newest service offering the Geek Squad Black Tie Service. To introduce the service we wrote a script for the event emcee and for three celebrities who Best Buy felt embodied Protection: Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver), Tanya Roberts (Charlie's Angels and Sheena) and Steven Seagal (of Mojo Priest fame.)

Animax worked with Ketchum in the past on the "Ink Is It" campaign for Kodak and the launch event at SNL Studios which recently won a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America.

First Creativity, Now Create

First we won multiple Creativity Awards. Now Animax Entertainment is proud to announce that we won multiple Create Awards as well. We won for some self promotional pieces we created and also for our client work on the Dippin' Dots Animated Movie Mashup Tool and SocialVibe we made.

Membership Has Privileges

Animax is proud to have received a Lifetime Membership in the International Banana Club! Specifically, we are on the Board of Apeels.

Animax Wins Four Creativity Awards

Animax won four awards in the 38th Annual Creativity Awards, including two Platinum level awards. The wins included client work for the Ad Council and SocialVibe as well as wins for self-promotional material. Congrats team!

Animax Wins Multiple Stashies

Animax Entertainment held its first ever Stashie Awards. Yes, we know February was the official International Mustache Month, but we're rebels!

Anyways, the race was close but the following staffers won in a variety of categories:

More Awards

Animax just won two more awards: Horizon Interactive Gold Awards, both in the Entertainment category. Go team, go!

Tuttles gets iParenting Media Award

The Tuttles Family Game we produced for Starlight Starbright along with Legacy Interactive just won an Excellent Product Award in the 2008 iParenting Media Awards. We were also involved in another iParenting Media Award winning product, but we have to keep that a secret.

Summit Creative Award

Animax Entertainment just won a Summit Creative Award for the animated mashup tool we created for Matrixx and Dippin Dots - the ice cream of the future. The tool let users create their very own animated movie from scratch featuring Packy as part of a (now over) contest.

Animax wins 5 Tellys

Animax wins multiple Tellys in the 2008 awards: two for our holiday card, two for Ink Is It. We also won a couple Interactive Media Awards as well.

Platform Win

A few months back Animax Entertainment contributed a short to an animated exquisite corpse experiment for Frederator called FredEx: The Secret Life of Robots. Our short was the first one in the movie - it's called Dating. Well the movie won Best Film For the Internet at the first ever Platform Animation Festival. Way to go team.

We Sniff Emmy

Monday is E-Day: we find out if we win our second Emmy Award. Keep your golden fingers crossed.

Sorry we've been remiss in posting - we have been super busy. 2005 was our best year. Then 2006 was our best year times two. Then the first four months of 2007 exploded like nuts times four to the third power.

Another Emmy Nod for Animax

Animax Entertainment just received another Emmy Award Nomination! We are nominated for Outstanding Broadband for "Off-Mikes," a Flash animated series that we produce for ESPN. We won the first ever broadband Emmy Award last year in a category called Outstanding Achievement Original Content for Non-Traditional Platform. This year's award definitely has an easier to say name.

Wow. Another great holiday gift. We just found out that Arnold Schwarzenegger's Hanukkah card over at ArnoldSpeaks.com was one of the top 5 holiday cards on Revver this month.
