Animax Among Fastest in LA

First Animax was added to the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in America. Then we found out we were among the 50 fastest growing companies in the San Fernando Valley. Now we hear we were added to Los Angeles Business Journal's list of the 100 fastest growing companies in all of Los Angeles, again measuring our growth between 2005-2008. Catch us if you can.

Hardee's & Carl's Jr. Tweeted Us

Wow - the burger powers that be over at Carl's Jr. and Hardee's just tweeted us a nice note of congratulations on our MarCom Platinum Award for the series we produced for them called Slotcar. Thanks, guys, much appreciated.

The series got over 2 million views on FunnyorDie alone and is still ranked in the top 100 of their most watched series ever.

Platinum Award Winning

Animax just won a Platinum MarCom Award for Web Video for our work on Slotcar. The awards recognize achievements in creative excellence in marketing and communications programs. Slotcar is the branded entertainment video series we developed and produced for CKE's Hardee's and Carl's Jr. The award-winning series garnered over 2 million views during it's run.

Animax is Top Banana

Animax Entertainment just got another nice honor. The San Fernando Valley Business Journal just informed us we made their Top 50 list of fastest growing private companies in the region. They tracked our performance from 2005-2008. We won't know our ranking on the list until the November 18th reception, but even being in the top 50 is great news!

This comes on the heels of just having been profiled in the SFVBJ and on Animax being added to the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in America.

Huge news for Animax Entertainment! The Inc. 500 list came out today and Animax is number 402. This honor ranks right up there with our Emmy Award. The Inc. 500 is an annual ranking of the fastest growing companies in America. We truly see it as recognition of the collective effort of so many people. Getting on the list is absolutely 100% due to the efforts of all the folks we've worked with over the years at Animax. Top of the Valley

The San Fernando Valley Business Journal released the nominees for the Valley’s best Human Resources professionals and Animax's very own Lawrence Monaco is on the list. Congratulations! The winners will be announced on March 19, 2009.

Passing Judgment

Animax Entertainment's Michael Bellavia is a judge for this year's ad:tech awards. The awards recognize the most talented online designers and strategic thinkers who demonstrate excellence in interactive marketing.

Coping with Awards

The revamped Coping with Chemo website and webisode series Animax produced for Starlight just won a Web Marketing Association Web Award for Health Care Standard of Excellence. Go Team!

Animax Earns Its Bling

Hot on the heels of having won 5 Davey Awards, Animax just learned we also won EIGHT W3 Awards! We were awarded 3 Silvers, 4 Golds and a Best in Show - Viral for our Holiday Card from last year. Besides winning for our own promotional work, our clients SocialVibe and The Ad Council also got some nice hardware. The W³ Awards honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites, videos and marketing programs.

Five Davey Award Wins

The Davey Awards, the largest and most prestigious competition for smaller firms, honor the "Creative Davids" who derive their strength from big ideas, not big budgets. Well, Animax just won four Silver Daveys and a Gold. We won for our work with clients like Kodak, SocialVibe, Dippin' Dots and we even won an award based on our own promotional work for Animax. Go team!

Animax just got a nice shout out from SocialVibe for the award winning video we produced for them. Very Nice!

Best Buy Black Tie

Animax was asked by Ketchum to help write and produce a launch event for Best Buy's newest service offering the Geek Squad Black Tie Service. To introduce the service we wrote a script for the event emcee and for three celebrities who Best Buy felt embodied Protection: Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver), Tanya Roberts (Charlie's Angels and Sheena) and Steven Seagal (of Mojo Priest fame.)

Animax worked with Ketchum in the past on the "Ink Is It" campaign for Kodak and the launch event at SNL Studios which recently won a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America.

First Creativity, Now Create

First we won multiple Creativity Awards. Now Animax Entertainment is proud to announce that we won multiple Create Awards as well. We won for some self promotional pieces we created and also for our client work on the Dippin' Dots Animated Movie Mashup Tool and SocialVibe we made.

Membership Has Privileges

Animax is proud to have received a Lifetime Membership in the International Banana Club! Specifically, we are on the Board of Apeels.

Animax Wins Four Creativity Awards

Animax won four awards in the 38th Annual Creativity Awards, including two Platinum level awards. The wins included client work for the Ad Council and SocialVibe as well as wins for self-promotional material. Congrats team!

Animax Wins Multiple Stashies

Animax Entertainment held its first ever Stashie Awards. Yes, we know February was the official International Mustache Month, but we're rebels!

Animax just won two more awards: Horizon Interactive Gold Awards, both in the Entertainment category. Go team, go!

Tuttles gets iParenting Media Award

The Tuttles Family Game we produced for Starlight Starbright along with Legacy Interactive just won an Excellent Product Award in the 2008 iParenting Media Awards. We were also involved in another iParenting Media Award winning product, but we have to keep that a secret.

Summit Creative Award

Animax Entertainment just won a Summit Creative Award for the animated mashup tool we created for Matrixx and Dippin Dots - the ice cream of the future. The tool let users create their very own animated movie from scratch featuring Packy as part of a (now over) contest.

Animax wins 5 Tellys

Animax wins multiple Tellys in the 2008 awards: two for our holiday card, two for Ink Is It. We also won a couple Interactive Media Awards as well.

Platform Win

A few months back Animax Entertainment contributed a short to an animated exquisite corpse experiment for Frederator called FredEx: The Secret Life of Robots. Our short was the first one in the movie - it's called Dating. Well the movie won Best Film For the Internet at the first ever Platform Animation Festival. Way to go team.

We Sniff Emmy

Monday is E-Day: we find out if we win our second Emmy Award. Keep your golden fingers crossed.

Sorry we've been remiss in posting - we have been super busy. 2005 was our best year. Then 2006 was our best year times two. Then the first four months of 2007 exploded like nuts times four to the third power.

Another Emmy Nod for Animax

Animax Entertainment just received another Emmy Award Nomination! We are nominated for Outstanding Broadband for "Off-Mikes," a Flash animated series that we produce for ESPN. We won the first ever broadband Emmy Award last year in a category called Outstanding Achievement Original Content for Non-Traditional Platform. This year's award definitely has an easier to say name.

Wow. Another great holiday gift. We just found out that Arnold Schwarzenegger's Hanukkah card over at ArnoldSpeaks.com was one of the top 5 holiday cards on Revver this month.
