Animax Entertainment is proud to announce the third season of the Emmy Award winning “Off-Mikes” launched today on the front page of ESPN.com and ESPN Radio with an episode called Casting Slouch where Mike & Mike discuss which actors would play them in the movie version of their lives. Cold Hard Flash covered the announcement about the Channel Frederator FredEx podcast – and Aaron even used this image from Animax Entertainment’s portion of the podcast. Yipee.

Animax Entertainment is featured in the latest Channel Frederator podcast episode. Dubbed FredEx, we were asked to animate a 10 second clip featuring robots and dating. What Kat and Lizzi animated and Barry did is sheer genius. Please make sure your robot watches this episode before he goes on hs next date. Just remember, no means no.

Another Animax mobile project unveiled: GPS Fishtrap is now available on select handsets. It’s a mobile game developed by GloFun that Animax Entertainment designed artwork and game elements for. The game takes place underwater as you try to trap fish. The actual gameplay itself is moved forward by what you do in the real world. As you walk around town with your mobile device, you actually participate in the game since it uses the handset’s GPS system to calculate your physical location. It uses this data to move your boat through the virtual sea as you troll for fish. It’s pretty interesting technology and it has a neat look too.
