Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007A Christmas Story
Thursday, December 7th, 2006Each year during the holidays Animax likes to showcase Catching Kringle, the animated film we produced for Jellyman that features Danny DeVito, John Rhys-Davies, and Larry King. The film deals with a literal war on Christmas, so perk up Bill O’Reilly, Ann Coulter, and Sean Hannity fans because it’s an animated battle for the spirit of the holiday season. Check it out here and have a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and any other holiday you’d like to celebrate.

Java Juiced
Wednesday, November 29th, 2006The next episode of Off-Mikes launched today and it’s all about coffee and the need for caffeine. The episode was promoted on the ESPN.com homepage also. Between ESPN and WWE, Animax Entertainment has the sports market cornered. We also did some animation awhile back for the Buccaneers NFL football team that we’d forgotten to mention. No More Junk Food – Blimey!
Monday, November 27th, 2006This is a huge deal -
UK regulators have banned advertising foods high in fat, salt and sugar around not only children’s programming but also for youth-oriented and adult programs which attract a lot of viewers under 16. It’s crazy! Imagine no more Fruity Pebbles or Coco Puffs or Gumi Bears or McDonalds or Burger King… the list goes on. The decision follows an earlier agreement with British advertisers banning the use of cartoon characters, licensed characters and celebrities who appeal to children in commercials.
Is the US next?
